Modified Date: November 8, 2019

Recently we have received many requests from our readers to recommend interesting cooking recipes with CBD oil. So, here are several recommendations of some recipes we have tested in our kitchen. Let us know after you have tried them, and if you have your own recipe please share it with us.

CBD & Vitamin Sports Smoothie

So, here is a great smoothie before going to do your daily workout. This smoothie will give you lots of energy, and with some CBD inside it will also support your muscle recovery and prepare you for the next impact training. If you are preparing for a marathon, Ironman, or doing some intensive CrossFit training, we strongly recommend it for you.

This one is based on pink grapefruit, pineapple and pomegranate.

0.50 large pink grapefruit peeled, don’t forget to take the seeds and cut into chunks

1/4 cup pineapple crushed; we strongly recommend you only use fresh

1/4 cup pomegranate fresh

1/4 cup non-fat Greek yogurt (this is optional, otherwise add water)

Add ice as you wish

Add your preferred dose of CBD oil; we recommend you play around with the doses until you find the perfect dose for you

Blend all ingredients together.

Spinach and Tomato CBD Pasta

What’s better than a light pasta with spinach and tomato, with some crushed walnuts on top before or after a good workout. And if you are not a spinach lover, feel free to change it for any green vegetables you like. We have tried it with broccoli, mangold, with kale and with zucchini.

So here it goes

1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

4 garlic cloves, very finely chopped

1 cup chopped onion

1 (14.5-ounce) thinly sliced tomatoes

1 1/2 cups unsalted chicken stock (best to use an home made one)

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

8 ounces whole-grain spaghetti or fettuccini

1/2 teaspoon salt

11 ounce fresh spinach

1 ounce Parmesan cheese, grated (about 1/4 cup)

10 walnuts (crushed thinly)

Add your preferred dose of CBD oil; we recommend you play around with the doses until you find the perfect dose for you

Start with sautéing the onion and garlic in a pan with olive oil. Once they start to brown, throw in the tomatoes, the stock and oregano. Cook for 15min in medium heat. In a separate pan make your pasta (make sure it is Al-Dente). Once your pasta is ready, cool it with running water, in order to stop the cooking. Right before serving; preheat the tomato sauce, throw the pasta in, add the spinach and stir for 3 minutes. Serve on a plate, throw over the crushed walnuts and Parmesan cheese. Drop some CBD on top (use your preferred amount of serving) and serve it with a smile.

CBD Smoked Salmon Salad

If there is something that can alleviate your hunger really quick, but at the same time leave you feeling light and with energy to continue the day, is a well-prepared smoked salmon salad. Now imagine adding several drops of CBD to support ease normal anxiety or simply support relief from everyday stressors.

smoked salad with CBD

1 lb salmon filets, boneless, skinless Cut into 4 fillets

1 tsp garlic salt

1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper

1/2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil to sauté

1 romaine lettuce or any other type you like

1/2 Cucumber sliced

6 radishes thinly sliced

1/2 small red onion (1/2 cup) thinly sliced

2 avocados, peeled and sliced

Add your preferred dose of CBD oil; we recommend you play around with the doses until you find the perfect dose for you

1/2 Lemon for salad sauce

2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil for the sauce

1/2 Tbsp of oregano

Mixed the lettuce, cucumber, sliced radishes, the thinly sliced onion, and the sliced avocados. In a small ball mix the lemon, oregano, olive oil, salt and your preferred CBD brand. With your hands mix the sauce with all the ingredients of the salad. Have the salad prepared, and then season both sides of salmon with 1/8 tsp pepper; you do not need to salt it as the salmon is salty enough. Heat the cooking pan with the olive oil and over medium heat cook the salmon for 3 minutes in each side. Take the salmon out, wait till it chills out to room temperature, break it up into small pieces and put it on the salad. Now eat it with calmness, smile, and enjoy the wonderful moment.
