How to Apply CBD Topicals
- Clean the area first. If you have a scrape or abrasion, carefully wipe it with a wet cloth. Also, wash your hands before putting your fingers in a jar of ointment. Germs and oils from your hands can remain in the product and contaminate it.
- Apply one layer and assess how it works after 15 or 20 minutes. If you don’t notice any change, apply another layer. It is pretty common to need to continue layering topicals throughout the day. Massage it in thoroughly.
- After you have finished, wash your hands. Other ingredients like terpenes and essential oils could be irritating if you were to accidentally rub your eyes.

Can you mix CBD balms with other balms, such as traumeel balm? I havent tried CBD creams for pain and sports recovery yet, but when I typically finish long runs I use to mix various balms. If I use CBD, will it stop the effects of other balms and visa versa?
