  • Drowsiness: Some people have reported drowsiness after consuming CBD in high quantities. It has also been said to have a calming sensation when in moderate amounts.
  • Dry Mouth: Scientists have recently confirmed the presence of cannabinoid receptors in our salivary glands. The dry mouth effect is caused by an interaction between CBD and cannabinoid receptors. The result is the inhibition of secretion of saliva.
  • Low Blood Pressure: Consumption of very high doses of CBD has also been reported to prompt a slight drop in blood pressure. This is often associated with mild lightheadedness.
  • Lightheadedness: Some consumers reported experiencing mild feelings of lightheadedness as a result of high doses of CBD.
  • Nausea and Diarrhea: Some people have experienced stomach upset after taking CBD. However, Cannabis is also used to treat nausea in people undergoing chemotherapy.
